Bounding is done.
The vine is few weeks late because of the weather still somewhat wintery. A day or two with nice sunshine and temperatures close to 25°C and the next day, overcast with only 15°C. The buds begin to swell anyway.
Today, capsules for "sexual confusion" have been put on all our parcels. It's been several years that we do it. It is a natural way to fight against pests butterfly of the vine (the cochylis and eudemis) that can do a lot of damage to the grapes during the outbreak. A hormone diffuser is put every two rows to hinder their reproduction. Females do not lay eggs, so there will be no larvae in clusters.
